I purchased this large mat for my father's desk. He is 90 years old and uses a walker to ambulate. He is very unsteady on his feet. Objects like rugs and mats, and uneven surfaces are very hazardous for him around his home. This mat not only protects the wood floors, it gives him stability when getting in and out of the chair, and when walking on it. The thin design makes it safe for movement on and off the mat, and the fact that the mat doesn't slide on the floor is perfect for the elderly and handicapped individuals, especially those who use assistive devices for ambulation. Great product.! I really like how soft it feels on bare feet!

I had been looking for a rug for my kitchen for awhile. The wood floors were getting distressed. I bought two of these rugs and placed them side by side and it's a great solution! Rugs are thin, adhere well to floors and seem to clean easily.
